10 year old Tiny Tiger, Kadin Dominguez, is a shining example of genuine Cushing Tiger pride.
He has been playing baseball (his favorite sport) for the Cushing Youth and Community Center since he was just 6 years old and is currently left fielder for the CYCC 10 U peewee team.
During a game last Tuesday night, Kadin suffered an injury to the nose from a pop fly ball and was taken to Cushing Regional Hospital to be examined while his team carried on in his absence. "When we were there, instead of throwing a fit or complaining, Kadin was more concerned about how his team was doing," said father, Ricky Dominguez, about the event. "It's moments like that that make me feel like the luckiest man on Earth. I am so proud of the little man he is growing into." Luckily, Kadin suffered only a possible fracture to the nose instead of the feared break.
The soon to be 4th grader also enjoys CYCC soccer and has played for 2 years so far. Kadin intends to continue playing both sports, setting an example for his 2 younger siblings, 8 year old Lilly and 4 year old Tuck. Lilly has played soccer for the Cushing Youth Center and Tuck plans to join the Tiny Tiger peewee football team as soon as possible.
