While hosting their final dual of the year against the Maroons, Tiger wrestlers celebrated their annual Senior Night last Tuesday, ending the season with a win, 43-30, over Blackwell. Family members and fans are invited to join the team at the end of year Wrestling Banquet at 6 PM Sunday, March 11th in the Cushing High School field house lobby. The event will be open to the public as CHS wrestling staff and team members will be recognizing youth, junior high and high school wrestlers; as well as coaches, parent's and fans.
Congratulations to JH wrestlers for a big win at the State Tournament last Thursday - taking 3rd place, Kaiser Simpson and bringing home the State Championship title this season, Luke Ahrberg!
Although the Cushing Tiger boys team lost their game last Tuesday night to Cleveland Tigers -ranked #11 in the district - it was in a much closer match than others this season. The boys seem to have finally found their team's stride - and just in time for district play! Down by 13 points at the halftime mark, Cushing made their way back up to tie the score in the second half and ultimately finished the night at 54-48 in favor of the Cleveland Tigers.

The matchup last Friday makes Cushing's second game in a row to show significant improvement in game play, wrapping up another close loss of 47-39 to Berryhill Chiefs.
Lady Tigers had a close game themselves when matched up against Berryhill and the girls took a rare loss to the Lady Chiefs' final of 29 points, pulling up just shy at a score of 27.
