After more than 3 hours on the road and 2 exciting softball games, the Cushing Lady Tigers did not walk away from Thursday's events disappointed. Following a close loss of 6-5 to Broken Bow, the Lady Tigers rallied and managed an even break, taking a lead of 3-2 in their second game of the day against Wagoner.

The team had a strong start but narrowly missed their first mark when they lost the lead and then the first day's game to Broken Bow -who took the win with a game total of 8 hits and 6 runs while Cushing finished up as close to their heels as they could get with 7 hits and 5 runs.

In another nail-biter, the girls swiped their win over Wagoner with one hit each from team members - Taylor Short, Rachel Sherwood, Jenna Hood and Megan Lee.
