Eighth-inning lead change vaults Kellyville past the Cushing Lady Tigers , 5-4

The Cushing lady Tigers lost the ballgame after losing the lead in the eighth inning Monday, as Kellyville grabbed a 5-4 victory in eight inning.

It was a good day at the plate for the Lady Tigers 's Megan Stump. Megan Stump went 3-4 and scored one run. She doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Josie Hood couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Cushing, taking a loss. She lasted just 7 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.

The Lady Tigers jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the third. The Lady Tigers 's rally started when Jade Ostrowski singled. A double by Megan Stump then moved Jade Ostrowski from first to third. More runs came home for the Cushing when Vasquez scored on a sacrifice fly by Jolie Boyle.

Kellyville scored two runs in the sixth inning, and then followed it up with two more in the seventh. In the sixth, Kellyville scored on an RBI double by #24, scoring #5.

Kellyville never trailed after scoring one run in the eighth on two errors.
